Hello all,

Cypress and Seymour Road & Parking Lot restrictions: i.e. Park Closures - slightly confusing notice:

“Mount Seymour Provincial Park – access restricted to some lower-elevation trails. Parking and road access are closed.

Cypress Provincial Park – access restricted to some lower-elevation trails. Parking and road access are closed.”

This is extremely annoying, as snow conditions are excellent, and lots of people have been snowshoeing and backcountry skiing (safely- as far as I could see...) however possibly this could be related to keeping people off the ‘abandoned’ ski runs...

Yes, It contradicts the Provincial Health Officer’s original advice to get out in the fresh air...

The Press Release also warns of further closures on a ‘case by case basis’...
