2019 Summer camp

From Saturday July 20 to Sunday July 28, a large group of North Shore hikers will be hiking in the beautiful Selkirk Mountains near Revelstoke and Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. This year’s summer camp will spend 4 days at each of the two hiking destinations.

Most of the participating hikers will be staying at the Canyon Hot Springs near Rogers Pass and the Castle Junction Hostel near Lake Louise.

If you happen to be in the area, you are welcome to join the group for a day hike. A complete hiking schedule can be found here.

Additional multi-day trips

This year we are also going hiking in Europe. A brave contingent of 16 NS hikers are hiking the Haute Route from Chamonix, France, to Zermatt, Switzerland. Stay tuned for some exciting slide show presentations later this year.

Please note that the club has not set yet a destination for the 2020 Summer camp so if you have any suggestions let your Executive know.
