Ye Chu will present her solo 28 day journey to Nepal.

Bill Myrtle will present a slide show on the 2016 NSH Scrambles Camp in Waterton Lakes National Park in the southern Canadian Rockies. The presentation documents scrambles to six summits including Mount Blakiston, the highest in Waterton Lakes National Park.

"Nothing about Everest is fair. Amazing how powerful it is in terms of providing and killing, and then what the aftermath of that is, the haves and have-nots. It's a microcosm of the world in a lot of ways. And it is not pretty." David Morton, retired Everest Mountain Guide

Ye Chu will present her solo 28 day journey to Nepal, starting in Kathmandu, following the path used for centuries by Trade Caravans and later by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tensing Norgay. The path took Ye through the haunting epicentre of the 2015 Earthquake and up to the base of Chomolungma "Mother Goddess of the World" (Everest Base Camp). At 5364 m, Ye was stunned to hear two fellow trekkers died of altitude sickness.

On her return from Everest Base Camp, in the Village of Khumjung, Ye was invited to be a guest speaker at Sir Edmund Hillary's Sherpa school (built in 1961), where she met locals who told tales of the Yeti and saw a Yeti scalp!
