The Federation of Mountain Clubs of B.C. held their  Annual General Meeting in Castlegar and NSH Executive members Cristina Jacob, Mack Skinner, Mary Tainsh and Beth Kitts came to take in the meeting and activities. One of the "fun" activities included beginners and advanced orienteering ( trying to find your way using a compass) and hiking. In the evening we enjoyed dinner followed by a slideshow given by Dave Quinn, wildlife biologist. The weekend provided a great opportunity to socialize with  clubs from around the province.
