This is the second time that our club has Waterton as a summer camp destination. First time was in 2009.
We had 7 glorious days of hiking covering all the great hikes in the park (Crypt Lake, Akamina Ridge, Lineham Ridge, Carthew/Alderson and Bertha Lake). One day we crossed the US border to Glacier National Park and did the Grinnell Glacier. We saw an unbelievable number of animals in the wild. Some of us have already posted pictures on this website. Please go to the Trip Reports forum to check them out. Seeing is believing!
Stay alert for the announcement of the 2017 summer camp. Three hikers have volunteered to organize it. Very likely we will return to the Rockies. Rocky Mountains here we come!
